Local author Don Sanford has spent years racing one craft or another around Lake Mendota.

This book is the story of the people, places and events that have shaped the shoreline of Lake Mendota, Wisconsin, as we know it today. Many of the photos featured in the book come from private collections and have not been seen before. Please contact author Don Sanford if you have a story or an old photo (pre-1980) to share or you’d like to be added to our mailing list so you’ll know when and how to get your copy of “On Fourth Lake."
