Madison College (formerly MATC) has an outstanding Culinary Arts Program preparing students to take a variety of positions in restaurants/and the food service industry. During part of each year, Madison College provides its culinary arts students the opportunity to plan, prepare and serve gourmet quality restaurant type luncheons to the public. Culinary Program Director, Paul Short, will provide a brief overview of the Culinary Program.

Menu: The menu will be developed a few days prior to the event depending in large part on the availability of local and/ or fresh food items. Patrons will be given a menu with 2 or 3 choices for each course. If you have a food allergy or medical dietary requirement, please list it on your registration form. The culinary staff will try to provide an option for your health related requirement.

Cost: $25.00 for PLATO members $30.00 for non-PLATO members includes 4 course gourmet quality luncheon (appetizer, salad, entrée, dessert) and a non alcoholic beverage.  Tip not included.  Tip as you would at a restaurant.  The tip will go toward Madison College’s culinary scholarship program and student educational trips. Alcoholic beverages will be available at additional cost.  No refund after November 10th unless we can fill your slot from a waiting list.

Registration Information: We anticipate high interest in this event. Only members will be able to register on a first come basis until Friday, April 1st.   Mike Di Iorio will maintain a short wait-list, please send him an email (mdiiorio@tds.net) to be added to the list.  Non-member guest registrations will start November 2nd - assuming space is still available. Cost for non-members: $30.00.

Date:  Thursday, April 7.  Time: Noon Location: Main Building at the Truax Campus, Rooms B1210-B1214.

Parking:  Parking is available on Hoffman Street, in the visitor parking lot. (Note: When entering the visitor lot use the code #6661). See attached campus map.
