 OVERVIEW OF RESOURCES TO ASSIST US AS WE AGE

Abigail Musselman, Lead Information and Assistance Specialist

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dane County (ADRC) is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing comprehensive, unbiased information regarding services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities. It is available to all residents of Dane County.

This lecture will focus on:

·         A brief overview of services offered by ADRC at no cost to any Dane County resident.

·         Supportive Home Care Services and In Home Health Care---to allow you to remain living in your home or apartment.

·         Information about Housing Arrangements (Current, downsizing, assisted living, skilled nursing care)

·         Cost of Various Care Options and Available Resources

This lecture is free to PLATO members and their guests. No registration is required.

Additional follow-up lectures may be offered, based on feedback from those attending.

Free parking is available in designated spaces outdoors and underground. To access underground parking, take the left fork as you enter at the stoplight on Mineral Point Rd. and go the SECOND driveway on the right. A sign indicates parking. Press the button located next to the garage door. When a voice answers, indicate you are there for a PLATO lecture. The door will open. Drive in and stay to the right as you move through the parking area. You are free to park in any available visitor slot. Exit where you entered.
