About the event
During this talk, attendees will examine environmental threats to human health that have changed in the past century, and they will learn how adjustments in human interaction with the environment have presented new challenges to medicine around the world.
About the speaker
Richard Keller, professor in UW–Madison’s Departments of Medical History and Bioethics and History, associate dean of the International Division
Keller is an author or coeditor of multiple books and publications. He is currently writing a global history of the environment, which is under contract with Oxford University Press. Keller is the winner of the 2013 William Koren Jr. Prize from the Society for French Historical Studies.

The lecture will be held in the Fluno Center, Howard Auditorium (first floor), 601 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53715
Cost: Free
Public parking is available in the Fluno Center garage (Lot 83) at 314 N. Frances Street, in Lot 46 at 301 N. Lake Street, or in the Lake Street ramp at 415 N. Lake Street.
