We're outside June 13, July 11, August 8

at the Memorial Union Terrace

and at a new time: 10 am


We will meet outside on the Memorial Union Terrace in the area behind the Rathskeller. Pete’s Coffee opens at 7am and serves bakery and small snacks – view their menu here. Other restaurants including the Rathskeller, the hot dog stand, the Daily Scoop, and others open at 11am. The Strata will open later in the season.

  • New Time:  10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • New Place:  Memorial Union Terrace behind the Rathskeller
  • Parking: The State Street Campus Garage, Lake Street structure, located at 415 N. Lake St., is  closed during redevelopment, severely limiting available parking in the area. The Francis Street ramp, accessible off of Francis street, is close to Memorial Union and is a 7-minute walk.
  • Organizer: Sharon Scrattish – look for Sharon setting up tables and chairs for the gathering.
  • Rain Considerations: If it rains, we'll move inside the Union. Look for Sharon who will be in the large glass-enclosed dining area.

  • COVID Protocol: Wear a mask to the event if you prefer.
  • Note: We will not be meeting at Lakeside Cafe this summer but will resume in September.
