Tour of the Overture Center
Tuesday, September 30 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Free to PLATO members and guests.
Registration is required.
Step inside Madison’s premier performing arts center for a special guided tour designed just for our group. We’ll explore the stunning lobbies, peek into the theater spaces, and—when available—venture backstage to see where the magic happens. Along the way, we’ll hear fascinating stories about the history of the Overture Center and learn about the wide variety of performances and programs that bring the community together today.
Please enter through the State street doors at 201 State street where our tour guides will meet us by the Info Desk which is just inside the lobby as you enter.
Accessibility: You are encouraged to wear close-toed supportive shoes. There will be a lot of time on your feet walking around and standing and there are some stairs. If there are people in the group who have accessible needs, the tour guides can accommodate by going on a route that doesn't include stairs and has some stops where folks can sit for a bit.
