The theme of Earth Day this year is "Our Power, Our Planet". The primary focus of this virtual conversation with Spencer Black is to discuss how we can individually and collectively make a difference when it comes to our environment/sustainability/climate change - in light of our federal government deregulating and rolling back climate change initiatives, etc. How do we get our power back? Can we get back on track?
Spencer Black represented the 77th Assembly District for 26 years in the State Legislature. He served as the Assembly Chair of the Natural Resources Committee and was the Assembly Minority Leader. During his tenure, Black was considered to be the Legislature’s leading environmental advocate.
